I will review the construction of the equivariant volumes and the equivariant indices for non-compact Kahler toric quaotients. I will discuss their generalization to the case of the disk and its relation to the quantum equivariant cohomology. The main emphasis will be on the non-compact toric manifolds and the related complications.
