A geometric framework for anisotropic big bang singularities and initial data on the singularity

Hans Ringström (KTH Stockholm)

Feb 14. 2022, 15:00 — 16:00

After a brief introduction to a geometric framework for understanding anisotropic big bang singularities, the focus of the talk will be on a notion of initial data on the singularity. One purpose of this notion is to give a unified perspective on when to expect quiescent asymptotics. However, it also gives a unified understanding of many previous results.
