I will talk about some recent work on the problem of global stability of certain homogeneous equilibria (the trivial solution and the Poisson equilibrium) of the Vlasov-Poisson equation in the three dimensional Euclidean space. This is joint work with Benoit Pausader, Xuecheng Wang, and Klaus Widmayer.
