Tropical field theory

In the tropical limit, Feynman integrals from perturbation theory simplify drastically and become easily computable to very high perturbative order. In addition, this limit correlates very strongly with the actual Feynman integrals. I will illustrate these features to motivate the definition of the tropical limit of scalar field theory, as an interesting theory in its own right. I will argue that this model can provide valuable insights into the asymptotic behaviour of perturbation series and resummation.
