The Regge Limit of Gravity

Ira Rothstein (Carnegie Mellon U, Pittsburgh)

Aug 19. 2026, 11:50 — 12:20

I will discuss GGSSCET (Glauber Gravity SCET) designed  for understanding gravity in the Regge (super-Planckian) limit.

GRavity has some novel properties that both simplify and complicate the theory relative to QCD, that necessitate some novel

changes to the way the EFT or organized. Ill discuss how these niovelties may help us understand  QCD in various lmiits.
