Local subtraction of IR divergences at higher orders in perturbative QCD

Federica Devoto (Stanford U)

Aug 18. 2026, 10:00 — 10:40

In this talk, I will summarize the (not so) recent developments of local subtraction schemes at higher orders in pQCD. I will present the main well established ideas at NNLO, and discuss challenges of possible extensions to N3LO. I will also touch on comparisons with slicing schemes, which have been widely used also for the most recent N3LO calculations currently available.
