The theory of jet quenching

I ll discuss the factorization framework for jet production and energy loss in heavy Ion collisions. I ll show that  both vaccum and medium evolution of the jet along  with  interference driven phenomenon in the nuclear medium  such as the LPM effect and color decoherence  can be systematically captured using a SCET Glauber  EFT framework.Further,  I ll discuss the universality of the non-perturbative physics for this factorization  and its implications for phenomenology .
