Cluster Algebras and (Mostly Tree) Amplitudes

Marcus Spradlin (Brown U, Providence)

Mar 16. 2026, 10:30 — 11:30

I will very briefly review some of the connections between cluster algebras and scattering amplitudes. In the bulk of my talk I will describe the statement and status of "cluster adjacency" conjectures related to tree-level gluon amplitudes, both for Yangian invariants in momentum twistor variables and BCFW terms in spinor helicity variables, relating respectively to Grassmannian and partial flag variety cluster algebras.
