ARPES signatures of polarons

Angle-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy (ARPES) provides momentum-selective information on qiasiparticles (QP) in solids. I will illustrate with examples from recent literature how the measured QP dispersion and line shape can probe the coupling of the charge carriers to the lattice, and reveal the formation of polaronic states.
