Recent experimental and theoretical developments are opening new ways to investigate the interplay between quantum theory and gravity, from the behaviour of quantum systems in gravitational fields to the possibility of gravity being sourced by quantum matter. At the same time, the quantum nature of spacetime has long been a central question in quantum-gravity research, with different approaches exploring how its quantum structure might manifest in physical phenomena. In this talk, I will revisit some of the phenomenological insights emerging from quantum-spacetime research and explore possible connections with current investigations of the quantum–gravity interface.
