We give an overview over the toric geometry package PALP. In part 1 we discuss the structure of the package, basic in- and output, scope and limitations, and simple examples. Part 2 focuses on more advanced applications such as Calabi-Yau complete intersections, analysis of fibration structures, Mori cones etc.
