Optimal transport for point processes

We discuss and survey some recently developed notions of transport distances for (stationary) point processes together with applications to hyperuniformity, Coulombgases, functional inequalities and dynamics for point processes. This is based on joint work with Matthias Erbar, Jonas Jalowy, Thomas Leblé, Bastian Müller and Hanna Stange.
