Singularity formation in nonlinear wave equations often occurs in the form of self-similar solutions. By introducing hyperboloidal similarity coordinates, we develop a stability theory for the wave evolution near a self-similar solution in spacetime regions that approach the Cauchy horizon of the singularity.
