In this talk I will introduce the notion of Fourier-Wigner multipliers for Schatten class operators. Fourier-Wigner multipliers is a quantum version of classical Fourier multipliers, and acts as an extension of classical localisation operators in time-frequency analysis. Results about Fourier-Wigner multipliers are established, and an equivalence between classical and quantum Fourier multipliers is proved for compactly supported multipliers. This allows us to reformulate the Bochner-Riesz conjecture in terms of Schatten class operators.
