I will present the results of joint work with S. Mongodi (Univ. Milano-Bicocca) in which we introduced a new technique based on a "d-bar uncertainty principle" in the study of subellipticity of the d-bar Neumann problem. I will discuss the main ingredients of our method and an application to a class of special domains in dimension 4.
