Research in Teams: Quivers, VOAs, and Generalised Symmetries

Project: This project investigates the interplay between vertex operator algebras (VOAs),  generalised symmetries, and moduli spaces of vacua in three-dimensional supersymmetric quantum field theories. These are rich structures that encode refined algebro-geometric aspects of the parent quantum field theories, and their connection becomes particularly interesting when the moduli spaces exhibit rich singular and stratified behaviour. Focusing on 3D N=4 quiver gauge theories, we study how phenomena such as Higgsing, symmetries and dualities are reflected in both geometry and algebra. The aim is to develop a unified framework linking these perspectives across mathematics and physics.
