Project: Our project aims to study aspects of the rich network of relationships between polytope geometry, projective toric geometry and representation theory. Questions to be investigated involve Fujita conjecture type questions for weighted projective spaces, the connection between very ampleness and normality for polytopes, and mutations of weighted projective spaces. We will also look at connections between polytope algebras and coinvariant algebras.
