Large Deviations, Extremes and Anomalous Transport in Non-equilibrium Systems - postponed

TP Rescheduled for 2022 due to Covid-19

The Thematic Programme has been cancelled/postponed due to Covid-19

New Dates: September 19 - October 14, 2022

The programme is aimed at bringing together leading researchers, young scientists and students working in different areas of the broad field of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics, where intimate connections are presently emerging. The main themes to be covered are: large deviations, statistics of extreme events and first-passage properties in stochastic processes, arising e.g. in avalanches and active matter, and anomalous transport in low dimensional systems whereby divergent transport coefficients, such as heat conductivity, have been observed. The recent progress made recently in these subfields of the broad discipline of nonequilibrium statistical physics makes the programme timely and highly promising.

Workshop: November 3 - 6, 2020
