The aim of the conference was to honor the scientific achievements of Prof. Maximilian Kreuzer who had passed away on November 26, 2010. The participants were former collaborators and students of Maximilian Kreuzer.

The scientific programme of the conference was very diverse, reflecting the broad range of Maximilian Kreuzer’s interests. Therefore the conference provided the opportunity for interactions between researchers of various fields in mathematics and physics. There were three main topics: 1. String Theory, Calabi-Yau Manifolds and Algebraic Geometry 2. Gauge Theories, Supergravity and Conformal Field Theory 3. Derived Categories and Homological Mirror Symmetry
